Hat Poems 1: Truths Army
Thursday, January 17th, 2008A rubbish bin resplendent in debutante’s dress Infection spread to freedom’s press The bush lied and Pharaoh holds us still Slaves enthralled to avaricious will ‘Neath centuries’ veneers too thick to crack Truth’s dread army holds us back From the great flood of knowing lest we drown A tissue! A tissue! We all fall down.
Hi there and welcome to the first “Hat Poems” if it has that at the top it’s my work. I’d love any feedback anyone has or any critical analysis.
Winston Churchill once said that “the Truth is so precious, it must be protected by a bodyguard of lies”. Now more than ever it is worth bearing that in mind in the political, business and social worlds. Seek ye the Truth!
… or “search for the sword that was broken” whatever gets you through the night…
