Santa Pat’s NokiaN79: It arrived today…
You all probably remember the buzz created by Pat Phelan’s Christmas giveaway on his blog which raised a significant sum for charitable causes.
So I entered every one of Pat’s competitions over Christmas and was absolutely stunned to win a Nokia N79 in his New Year giveaway. It arrived yesterday. Woot!
It’s a very cool phone very solid in the hand unlike a few of the nokia smartphones. More importantly it’s GPS and Nokia maps system got me out of some trouble while stuck in a huge delay today,it allowed me to just navigate around it, which was very cool. And it looks like Pat was right about Qik it’s cool for that too.
I’m thrilled anyway. I NEVER win anything really. Absolutely delighted with this phone and as I’ll be getting another new phone soon anyway it seems we will have a bunch of phones hanging around to donate to the Jack & Jill foundation.
